Seven apartments in the Sealawn Block are now available for dog-friendly bookings, each offering comfortable accommodation just moments from the beach.
Our dog-friendly stays are designed to be easy, relaxed and practical — with clear guidelines, thoughtful touches and dedicated facilities to help you enjoy your holiday.
Dog-Friendly Apartments
The following seven apartments in the Sealawn Block are available for dog-friendly bookings for stays from 1st October 2026 onwards:
These apartments are all located within the same building, making it simple to manage dog-friendly stays while maintaining comfort and convenience for all guests.
What’s Included: Doggy Welcome Hamper
Each dog-friendly booking includes a doggy welcome hamper, featuring:
- Dog treats
- Poo bags
- Pet towel
- Pet throw
Guests are kindly asked to bring their own dog basket or crate.
House Rules for Dog-Friendly Stays
To ensure comfort for all guests and maintain high standards across the property, we ask dog owners to follow a few simple rules:
- Maximum one small or medium-sized dog per apartment (Additional dogs may be accepted on request depending on the property.)
- Dogs must not go upstairs in split-level apartments. Stair gates will be installed where needed (e.g. Lundy Cottage)
- Dogs must not enter bedrooms or go on beds or furniture
- Please use the designated dog area and dog waste bins provided
- Dogs should be supervised and kept under control at all times
All dog-friendly apartments receive enhanced cleaning after every stay to maintain high standards for all guests.
Dedicated Dog Area
To make your stay even easier, we’re creating a secure, fenced dog area beside the Sealawn Block. This space includes:
- Safe, enclosed area for dogs
- On-site dog waste bins
- Easy access from all seven dog-friendly apartments
This gives dogs a safe outdoor space while keeping the wider site clean and comfortable for all guests.
Dog Fee
A dog fee of £35 per dog per stay applies. This covers additional cleaning, supplies and the dog hamper.
Local Dog-Friendly Beaches
There are several great beach options nearby:
- Croyde Beach – which is on our doorstep has seasonal dog restrictions, with dogs not permitted on the main sandy beach from 1 May to 30 September, although they can use surrounding coastal paths and dunes (subject to local rules). Dogs are welcome on the beach from October to April.
- Putsborough Beach – an 8-minute drive, offers a beautiful sandy beach at the southern end of Woolacombe Bay. Dog access is restricted May to September but enjoy full access October to April.
- Saunton Sands – just a 15-minute drive from Croyde Bay, offers over 3 miles of golden sands. Dogs are welcome on the beach here all year round.
- Woolacombe Beach – a 20-minute drive, offers a vast sandy beach stretching for miles popular with dog owners. Seasonal restrictions apply on some sections during summer months, but designated dog-friendly sections are also available.
- Grunta Beach – dogs welcome all year round
- Rockham Beach – dogs welcome all year round
- Crow Point – dogs welcome all year round
If you’re visiting during the summer restriction period, the South West Coast Path around Baggy Point offers spectacular dog-friendly walking with panoramic sea views and plenty of space for exercise.
